The Most "Agile" Industries - (by the numbers)

Agile software development -- a methodology that stresses iterative and collaborative development techniques -- has long been the purview of high tech. But according to a survey by Forrester Research Inc. of Cambridge, Mass., agile has now found its way into other industries.

The insurance industry leads in agile development adoption, with 32% of 50 respondents deploying the methodology, followed by telecommunications (23% of 31 respondents) and wholesale trade (22% of 45 respondents).
