Ernie Park, the former CIO at Maytag, moved into the CIO role at $213-million Minneapolis-based Select Comfort Corp. His predecessor, Mike Thyken, is staying on and has been named VP of process development. And Forbes.com picked former Thomson Media CTO Raymond Ouellette as its first CIO. Paula Winkler is the new CIO at $130-million Carlson Hotels Worldwide, which includes the Radisson Hotels & Resorts brand, among others. Jim Bottum has traded one campus for another. After five years as Purdue University's first CIO, Bottum transfers to Clemson University, where he is CIO and vice president of computing and information technology.
