  • In Seattle, $200-million Attachmate Corp. has named Wayne Crane CIO. He most recently held that title at NetIQ, which was acquired by Attachmate last summer.
  • Christopher Rieder is the new CIO at $760 million Parexel International Corp. in Waltham, Mass.
  • $1.6 million Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Corona, Calif., appointed Thomas R. Giordano SVP and CIO. Giordano joined Watson following the company's acquisition of Andrx Corp., where he served as SVP, CIO and chief project management officer.
  • San Francisco-based Certain Software Inc. named Jonathan Dodson CIO.
  • New York-based Moody's Corp., which has $1.7 billion in revenue, named Perry Rotella SVP and CIO.
  • In Spokane, Wash., $1.3-billion Avista Corp. promoted James M. Kensok to VP and CIO.
  • London-based Taylor Nelson Sofres PLC, with $1.7 billion in revenue, appointed Enzo Micali CIO of the company's North America custom research business. Micali is the former CIO of 1-800-Flowers.com.
